Geelong three-piece ORB have been signed to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s record label Flightless. The signing sees ORB join the Flightless family of acts like The Murlocs and The Babe Rainbow.
Today, ORB have also shared the video for their debut single Migration, which coincides with the release of their 7″ Migration / Migration 2.
On how the band formed, guitarist Zak Olsen explains “We started because Harmer, Daff and I were all neighbours and had plenty of time to play music together. Thought it’d be fun to try play doom / metal because it was different to what we’re used to playing. Over time we realised we didn’t have patience for doom or the skill for metal, so while it’s still heavy and sometimes slow it’s not always.”
ORB will be hitting the road over the next few months to support The Murlocs on their national tour, and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard on their east coast tour.
