UPDATE: Concert For Kate has moved to the Enmore Theatre on a new day of March 15th. Grab your tickets here.

Last September, You Am I’s ex-manager and friend Kate Stewart suffered a severe stroke that left her with significant impairments. Having been part of the teams that are responsible for both Big Day Out and Splendour In The Grass, Stewart’s contribution to the Australian music industry has been immeasurable.

So, this March, a stack of the country’s best acts are gathering to hold a special benefit gig for Stewart.

You Am I, Phil Jamieson, and Bernard Fanning are all set to perform at a huge benefit concert of Kate Stewart this March.

Set to perform at the gig are You Am I, Phil Jamieson, Paul Dempsey, Bernard Fanning, and a heap of others. On top of all this great music, the event will feature special guests, giveaways, and a memorabilia auction.

Before we had half a clue, our band approached Kate Stewart for some advice on how to get shows, how to make a record, how to be a group,” You Am I said in a press release.

We asked her because she had a reputation for being a straight talker, no bluster, and someone who thrived on getting stuff done.”

The event will take place on March 15th at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney. Tickets are available now, and you grab them here.
