Less than one year after releasing Isle Of Dogs, Wes Anderson is reportedly gearing up to start work on his 10th feature film.
As reported by The New Republic, Anderson has decided on a location of Angoulême – the capital of the Charente region in southwestern France.
Wes Anderson is set to return to the directors chair next year, with a new film reportedly set in his adopted home, France.
While no plot or casting details have been revealed, the film will be set immediately after World War II.
Anderson’s last feature film Isle of Dogs was pieced together at London’s 3 Mills Studios, while Grand Budapest Hotel was filmed in Görlitz, Germany, The Royal Tenenbaums in New York, The Life Aquatic around Naples and the Italian Riviera, and The Darjeeling Limited in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
Anderson has spent years living in France, though this would be his first time setting a film there.
