Hey Sydney-siders, we’re giving away two double passes to Go Here Go There music festival!
On October 20, Potts Points Partnership have teamed up with City of Sydney and Ticketbooth to put on a massive night that’ll provide you with enough music to keep you dancing all night and then some.
Go Here Go There aims to spotlight Kings Cross’ colourful variety of bars and venues across one night, providing you with a huge dose of nightlife spots, live music and dancing.
Kings Cross has had a fair blow to its nightlife with the Lockout Laws, but that hasn’t stopped the precinct from burning bright and long into the night.
“If anything, post-lockout the local entertainment eco-system has evolved even stronger as artists and venue staff feed off the attempts at oppression and injustice to produce even better music, art, food, and beverage experiences for patrons,” says event organiser Chris Williams from Canvas Events in our recent chat about the festival.
Tickets give you complete access to venues like Candy’s, Crane Bar, Jangling Jack’s, Kings Cross Hotel, Potts Point Hotel and World Bar throughout the event.
Some of the bands you can expect at Go Here Go there include Sunscreen and Moaning Lisa, who will be playing new material straight off their new EP Do You Know Enough? Also on the bill are Mezko, Oski, Coda Conduct, FlexMami, a DJ set from Alex Dyson, as well as plenty of other local bands and artists.
