Watch Post Malone join Mac DeMarco onstage with nothing but an egg shaker

During a cover of ’60s Japanese icon Kyu Sakamoto’s sentimental Sukiyaki, Mac DeMarco was accompanied on stage by Post Malone and his egg shaker.

Over the weekend Fuji Rock Festival took place in Yuzawa, Japan and featured a star studded line-up including Kendrick Lamar, Skrillex, Bob Dylan and now a never-before-seen Canadian collaboration the world will never forget.

During Mac Demarco’s performance, he was thoughtful enough to put aside a portion of his set to do a personalised collaboration of chart topping Japanese crooner Sukiyaki.

The crowd responded well to the classic hit being played, but a vital part of the overall piece did seem to be missing; additional hand percussion.

Luckily enough Post Malone had a spare moment and wandered on stage with a beer in one hand, and a single egg shaker in the other.

A truly inimitable collaboration of artistry, DeMarco welcomed Post Malone onto the main stage with open arms.  The American rapper sported a red Supreme bum bag on his chest and a cigarette in his mouth, overall he provided a seamless performance to the fans and a memorable one at that.

Apart from this memorable performance, DeMarco’s set at the festival also featured popular track’s including No Other Heart, Salad Days from his successful 2014 album of the same name, and My Kind of Woman.

The pair were photographed together last year with YouTubers H3H3 and fans have been waiting for the two to collaborate ever since.
