One of the most surprising acts at this year’s Coachella bill was definitely Hans Zimmer – but fuck did the man bring it. CoS described his performance as “a distinct privilege to witness such a master in action,” and video footage of the set absolutely confirms this.
Hans Zimmer is a goddamn rock star. Watch him melt minds with scores from The Dark Knight and Inception at Coachella.
His interpretations of the Dark Knight and Inception scores (which featured a full orchestra and band) were nothing short of transcendental and you can watch both below.
In the videos Zimmer performs a selection of material from The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, including Why So Serious?, Like a Dog Chasing Cars, and Bane Suite.
