WAMFest, the annual festival put on by the legends over at West Australian Music (WAM), is officially back this November.
Coinciding with the WAMAwards and WAMCon, the unique event will once again see Perth transformed into a total musical hub from November 1st to 3rd. And as usual, they’re opening up applications to West Australian artists big and small.
Keen to see your band playing at WAMFest 2018? Whip out that calendar, because dates are locked in and applications are officially open.
All West Australian artists are eligible to submit themselves for WAMFest 2018 – from any genre or of any size. Applications can be made here, where you’ll also find some criteria noting how to best increase your chances. Applications close 11:59pm on Sunday July 1st.
WAMFest will be kicking off on November 1st with the WAMAwards. Friday November 2nd is where things really kick off, with WAMCon, Quay Note Boat Party, and WAMFest Live Friday all taking place.
The festival will wind up on the 2nd with day two of WAMCon and Live Saturday. Additionally, a number of regional and local council events (yet to be revealed) are being planned for the lead-up to the main spectacle.
