Vintage Trouble Can’t Stop Rollin’ on their infectious new hit

When a band describes their sound as “live-wired, straight-shootin’, dirty-mouth’d pelvis-pushin’ juke music” with such fervour, you know they mean business.

Los Angeles-based four-piece Vintage Trouble have skilfully fused traditional blues, soul and rock ‘n’ roll from the ’50s and ’60s with modern day rock and pop to create a distinct breed of music which has won fans the world over. Their latest single, Can’t Stop Rollin’, is sure to be a success.

If Bluesfest was a bowling alley, Vintage Trouble would have just scored a turkey. The band are back for their third year in a row, playing at Australia’s biggest blues and roots festival again in 2019.

Vintage Trouble debuted at Bluesfest back in 2017 and have been welcomed back into Australia’s music scene with open arms.

Despite the fact that the four-piece – made up of singer Ty Taylor, guitarist Nalle Colt, bassist Rick Barrio Dill and drummer Richard Danielson – are veterans to the blues and roots scene, they have managed to maintain a level of youthful excitement that’s normally exclusive to newcomers to the industry. Even though they’ve been around for almost 10 years, their music and live performance indicate they’ve got just as much passion for their craft as the day they started playing.

It’s pretty easy to stay excited about music when you get to share the stage with some of music’s greatest; Vintage Trouble have had the pleasure of playing alongside Bon Jovi, The Who and The Rolling Stones, just to name a few.

Their new single Can’t Stop Rollin’, which came out today, sees the band fuse their signature blues and roots style with a subtle homage to ’90s RnB. It’s smooth, infectious, and irresistible.
