Imagine if acoustic folk and punk got together… well, the result would be Vetty Vials. Gracing the punk scene with her pop-emo presence for almost three years, Vetty Vials has played Ginger Fest, the Chopdog Harbour Cruise, Unfun Festival as well as Get Folked Punk Nights.
Vetty Vials has a twangy, country sound to her heartfelt vocals, distilling an uplifting, emotional and almost perfected genre blend. Her music has a City And Colour feel to it, with each strum of the guitar taking us back to the days when emo was a widespread trend that dominated half of Aussie youth.
Radiating the vibe of Taylor Swift gone bad, Vetty Vials is twisting the face of modern folk pop with a distinctly punk rock attitude.
Now the songwriter is unleashing her debut EP I am okay, I promise and revealing the band which will play alongside her, The Sandpit Turtles. This includes Matt O’Keefe on guitar, Paul Anderson on bass and Mitchell Johnson on drums.
The Sandpit Turtles combined create a much fuller, captivating sound in addition to Vetty Vials’ vocal, enhancing the deep emotion rooted within her lyricsim. This talented trio will be appearing for the first time at Glebe’s Record Crate on June 11, which sold out within six hours of tickets being released.

Vetty Vials radiates a Taylor Swift gone bad vibe. The heart-breaking collection of tracks that make up EP, I am okay, I promise is like listening to a pop album albeit with a stronger emotional energy, driving each song straight through your heart.
