Tom Waits makes rare appearance at Jack White show, allegedly steals his watch

In recent years, Tom Waits sightings have become a rare occurrence. Though on Thursday night, Waits stopped by Jack White’s show at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.

Then, according to a post on White’s Instagram, Waits proceeded to steal the artist’s watch.

Last week, at a show in San Francisco, Jack White was treated to a rare visit from Tom Waits… and Waits allegedly stole his watch.

Tom Waits came to Jack White’s performance in San Francisco and made all the musicians in the band confirm and pay testament to their love of the religion of music,” the post says.

He also stole Jack’s watch.”

Waits has recently been reissuing his entire back catalogue, which most recently included his Asylum Era albums (Closing Time, The Heart Of, Nighthawks At The Diner, Small Change, Foreign Affairs, Blue Valentine).

The legendary musician is also set to feature in Robert Redford upcoming film The Old Man And The Gun.
