The world’s biggest hip-hop festival is coming to Australia next January

Rolling Loud, the world’s biggest hip-hop and rap festival, is heading down under for the first time.

Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B, Young Thug, Post Malone – these are just some of the names that have played Rolling Loud since it launched in Miami three years ago.

Rolling Loud, the world’s biggest hip-hop festival, is making its way to the southern hemisphere for the first time next January.

Co-founders Zingler and Cherif said, “… we’re thrilled to make our Australian debut. Rap music is the most popular and fastest growing genre of music and the world deserves to experience curated line-ups of its biggest stars and hottest new talent.”

Just one of the many things the festival is known for is bringing surprise acts to the stage – like the time Future brought out Post Malone to play White Iverson “and he wan’t even booked for it.”

Fans were even paid to attend the event. At May’s festival in Miami, Young Dolphin invited two baristas and gave them 20K after they had been fired for playing his music in a coffee shop.

Whether you want to go for the music or just experience what the festival has to offer, you’ll definitely leave go home on a high.
