The Sheaf has your summer Sundays sorted with these free weekly gigs

Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs has it somewhat tough when it comes to live music. But in spite of the many issues our city has faced, few venues have stayed determined to carry the torch in the area.

The Sheaf have been putting on music since forever, and we’re stoked to hear that they’re ramping it up this summer. As long as the days are hot, the venue will be putting on Sunday sessions… and best of all, they’re free.

Get your summer groove on at Sheaf Sundays, a new live music series popping up in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

This Sunday things kick off with a huge joint bill. Total Giovanni and World Champion, two of Australia’s biggest party starters, will both be hitting the floor for DJ sets.

Total Giovanni are fresh off a sold-out tour supporting their debut album Euphoria. Even behind the decks these fellas know how to cut a dance floor in two, you can take it from us directly.

It’s been a long time between drinks for World Champion but they’ve just hit us with Gun, their first single in three years. There’s never been a better time to see the band back at it with a brand new energy.

On January 27th The Sheaf will host Kilter, a beatmaker and performer who has spent years honing his skills at Australia’s hugest festivals. 2017 saw Kilter release his hit debut album Distortion and touring around Australia like an absolute maniac.

In 2018 a live Kilter show has become far more rare, so don’t miss your chance this summer.

Sheaf Sundays kicks off at 4pm weekly, with UNDR CTRL DJs spinning tunes each and every show. This event is 100% free, so bring as many friends as you please.
