The nominees for the 2017 J Awards have just been announced. Who’s your bet on?

The nominees for the 13th annual J Awards have been announced, with the likes of A.B Original, Methyl Ethel, Jen CloherKardajala Kirridarra, and Kirin J Callinan scoring nods in 2017.

The nominees for the 2017 J Awards are here, with the likes of A.B Original, Methyl Ethel, Jen Cloher, Kardajala Kirridarra, and Kirin J Callinan scoring nods this year.

The J Awards are an integral part of Ausmusic Month – triple j’s annual celebration of homegrown talent that takes place every November.

The awards are judged by the triple j music teams and presenters of triple j, Double J and triple j Unearthed, and nominees are chosen for their “originality, creativity, technical excellence and contribution to Australian music,” says a press release from triple j.

The winners will be announced live on triple j from 4pm on Thursday 23 November.
