To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Sufjan Stevens‘ iconic album Illinois, Asthmatic Kitty Records have revealed the release of a special limited-edition re-issue.
The album has been dubbed the Blue Marvel Edition, and features artwork of characters taking flight above the Chicago skyline. The album was originally released with Superman artwork, but due to copyright infringement with DC comics, was subsequently removed.
The re-release will only be issued with 10,000 copies, and will be available from April 1, 2016. Stevens will be heading Down Under early next year for a national Australian tour in support of his latest album release, Carrie and Lowell.
