Stop the press, friends. The official Splendour In The Grass website is currently displaying a countdown, presumably to the lineup announcement next week.
Australia’s favourite festival blew us away last year with LCD Soundsystem, HAIM, and even a surprise Powderfinger reunion. Whatever they have up their sleeve this year, you can be sure it’s huge.
The countdown is on: Splendour In The Grass 2018 have launched a countdown on their official website – pointing to sometime next week.
As of writing this, the countdown stands at 5 days, 22 hours – meaning we’re looking at ground zero on Wednesday April 11th. At 9am to be precise, which is in line with their previous lineup announcements.
The rumour mill has been in full throttle lately, with Arctic Monkeys and Jack White currently sporting large touring gaps in late July (among others). Who do you think will be playing this year?
Splendour In The Grass takes place between Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd of July at its usual venue, North Byron Parklands.
