Sophie Lowe has shared the video for her latest single Understand, which has received generous airplay after being added to rotation on triple J.
Directed by Dean Francis of the JJ Splice production company, the video was shot in the Redfern Gym, in Sophie’s hometown of Sydney. On the ideas behind the video, Sophie said “I really wanted to capture the build up of the frustration and anger that I talk about in the song. One of the main things I wanted to express with this clip was the explosion of emotion through release. I thought a boxing gym would be a perfect place to show case all those emotions”.
Sophie Lowe has just been announced as the support act for Meg Mac’s upcoming tour, and will be joining the songstress for her shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
