Save the date: Newtown Festival is back and turning 40 this year!

Lock it in friends, the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre have declared that Newtown Festival is returning in 2018. In fact, it’s turning 40.

A celebration of the inner west and every wacky character it has to offer, the one-day event is a fanfare of music, art, and community, bringing tens of thousands to Camperdown Park each and every year.

Don’t miss out on Newtown Festival 2018! As the inner west’s favourite fest turns 40, you can bet they’ll be bigger than ever before.

Newtown Festival 2018 takes place on Sunday November 11th from 9:30am – 5:30pm. Stay up to date on the Facebook event, where a full program will be revealed in the coming months.

Like last year, a Festival Series will preclude the big day with more than 10 gigs, workshops, and other events throughout October and November. By the time the festival is coming around, you’ll be itching to get amongst it.

If you’re keen to get involved, applications for food and drink, market stalls, and volunteers are open now.

As with last year, there will be an expected $5 contribution on entry (via cash or pay pass). Newtown Festival remains the primary fundraiser for the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, a community-led organisation who never stop helping the locals who need it most, so your donation will be well-spent.
