Radiohead are suing Lana Del Rey for allegedly ripping off elements of their 1993 single Creep in her recent track Get Free, which featured on her latest album Lust For Life.
After reports broke that a copyright infringement suit was occurring, Del Rey confirmed the news via her Twitter account.

“It’s true about the lawsuit. Although I know my song wasn’t inspired by Creep, Radiohead feel it was and want 100% of the publishing,” she wrote.
“I offered up to 40 over the last few months but they will only accept 100. Their lawyers have been relentless, so we will deal with it in court.”
The track credits Lana Del Rey, Rick Nowels, and Kieron Menzies as co-writers.
Many have been quick to point out that Radiohead were allegedly sued over the same track for sharing similarities with The Hollies’ 1974 track The Air That I Breathe. Songwriters of The Hollies track, Albert Hammond and Mike Hazlewood, were listed as co-writers on Creep following an out of court settlement.
Many are still holding out for a Radiohead Australian tour, following the release of their most recent album A Moon Shaped Pool.
Lana Del Rey is scheduled to tour Australia in March/April for the first time since 2012.
