PREMIERE: YT Dingo delivers a phenomenal new clip in Shipwrecked

Straight out of the Gold Coast comes one of the most surprising videos of 2018. Picture incredible production, insanely creative visuals and some pretty dope choreography. We are talking about the most recent music video from YT Dingo, titled Shipwrecked.

Crawling from the ocean, lead singer Travers Ross alongside fellow performers Blk Cockatoo, Rama Domosi and Dave Atkins (Resin Dogs, Wolfmother) proceed to absolutely nail the art of the music video by taking his audience on twists and turns no one could have expected.

Pulling fallen comrades, men and children from the tumbling breakers, the group proceeds towards the safety of sand.

YT Dingo Shipwrecked

While the strong beat and passionate melody keeps Shipwrecked in motion, it’s the choreography from YT Dingo that blows the audience away.

Almost tribal, the clip triggers a deep sense of connection to the sensual and earthly relationship between ocean and land. Shipwrecked is as lyrically apt as it is true to the sense of survival and strength the movement of the dance evokes.

The performance becomes more and more passionate as the clip progresses. Building in fury and intensity, you become fearful yet intrigued by the characters you are introduced to. A great song and made even more impressive by such a well crafted and shot music video, this is a production which Ross and his team should be very proud of.

A big shout out should go to those phenomenal kids performing. The beauty and poeticism coming through Shipwrecked is something to behold and the strength between the many characters in the clip is an important part of that.
