PREMIERE: White Summer strut a grungy aesthetic on new banger Out Of Phase

Simple often does the trick, and Melbourne’s White Summer have kept it old school grunge with their latest video Out of Phase.

In contrast to their clip for 2017 track Zero in Tennis, these Victorians are showing us that they can do both glamour and grit. This latest music video harks back to those Saturday morning Rage sessions in the best way.

In other words, White Summer have nailed it.

White Summer are making leaps and bounds with Out Of Phase, an undeniable banger in the lead-up to their debut record.

The band had a massive 2017 supporting Ash Grunwald and British India, and with the rapid pace of the new music they’re releasing it’s becoming apparent that 2018 might just be their year. With their debut record in the works and a bunch more singles hopefully being unveiled, all we can do is sit back and watch the magic happen.

Out Of Phase is simple yet captivating. A combination of band members and city backdrops, the clip is urban and edgy but with a familiarity that makes it accessible to everyone. It’s just the right amount of arty.

The single comes in the lead-up to their debut record, recorded with Burke Reid who has worked in the studio with the likes of Peter Garrett, Sarah Blasko, Courtney Barnett and DZ Deathrays. Safe to say they’re in good hands.

If all this wasn’t enough, the boys have a tour on the cards to promote the new single. Keep your ear to the ground, we promise White Summer are coming your way.
