PREMIERE: Enter the terrifying, surreal world of UTE ROOT’s new video Ketamine Queen

Until researching this new video from Melbourne three-piece UTE ROOT, I was completely unaware of the bizarre scenes of the infamous 1972 Rothschild Illuminati Party.

Like some demented nightmare, the party featured some of the most terrifying and surreal imagery you’ll ever stumble across (Salvador Dali was a guest, after all). If you’ve never checked it out, I reccomend you do so.

Directed by Larysa Kondracki (Better Call Saul, The Walking Dead), UTE ROOT’s new video for Ketamine Queen is a surreal slice of hallucinatory horror.

On their new video for Ketamine Queen, UTE ROOT belt through a hallucinatory recreation of these scenes that’ll mangle your psyche.

The new clip was filmed at Collingwood’s iconic rock n’ roll bar Feefee’s, and was directed by Larysa Kondracki (Better Call Saul, The Walking Dead, Picnic At Hanging Rock). We don’t know how on earth they hooked that up, but the result is one of the most captivating and horrifying music videos we’ve come across this year.

The song itself is a blistering slab of crunching guitars and gritty vocals that’ll kick you right in the teeth. Ketamine Queen will feature on the band’s first ever 7″ record… which is set to be released next month.

For now, do yourself a favour and watch the new video above, and catch UTE ROOT live at any of the following dates:
