PREMIERE: Soak in the fuzzy pop glory of The Terrifying Lows’ new single Comet

We were first introduced to the effortlessly energetic sounds of The Terrifying Lows a few months back with the release of Cool With It; a truly infectious and fuzzy alt-pop hit.

Now, the Melbourne based multi-instrumentalist has shared his brand-spankin-new single Comet… and we’re stoked to be premiering it for you today.

On his seriously infectious new single Comet, Melbourne multi-instrumentalist The Terrifying Lows crafts a sound that’s simultaneously effortless and energetic.

The Terrifying Lows is the project of Tyler Millott – who has spent the past number of years playing alongside such artists as Ali Barter, Gretta Ray and Husky, among others. Though now, having branched out on his own, Millott has crafted a seriously addictive sound that belongs entirely to himself.

On Comet, Millott breezes through an exuberant blend of grunge, indie-rock, psych and alt-pop to deliver a song that’ll seep deep into your bones and make you groove.

With crunching guitars and breezy, pop-driven vocal hooks, this track is bound to be taking over your Sunday arvo playlists before too long.

These are still early days for The Terrifying Lows, but judging by the quality of what we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect more quality tunes from this Melbourne artist.

For now, do yourself a favour and listen to Comet above.
