PREMIERE: The Plane Sailors make one hell of a first impression with Now I Know

Debut singles can be tough. Many artists take a while to find their footing, and therefore their debut releases reflect a band unsure of their sound. Brissy four-piece The Plane Sailors, however, are not one of those bands.

With the release of their debut single Now I Know, the quartet have immediately established their penchant for crafting hook-driven indie-rock gems that’ll get stuck in your head for weeks.

As far as debut singles go, this new track from Brisbane four-piece The Plane Sailors is about as good as it gets.

Throughout the new single, The Plane Sailors weave together elements of alt-rock and blues to create a sound uniquely their own. With addictive vocal melodies and textured instrumentation, Now I Know is a straight-up rock track that we guarantee you’ll quickly get hooked on.

Infectious gang vocals kick the song into existence, while layers of crunching guitars meld seamlessly with air-tight percussion. The result of these interwoven sounds is a punchy slice of music that will stick with you long after it reaches the conclusion of its three-minute duration.

This may only be the first slice of music we’ve heard from The Plane Sailors, but it’s a damn good starting point. We can’t wait to hear what they deliver next.

For now, do yourself a favour and listen to Now I Know above.

Catch The Plane Sailors live at Woolly Mammoth in Brisbane on Thursday, November 29th. More info here.
