PREMIERE: Let Saint-Léon hypnotise you with their new video Hold My Love

It’s hard to imagine two people living on opposite sides of the world possessing as much synergy as synth-pop duo Saint-Léon.

Named after the small French commune where they record their music, Saint-Léon are made up of childhood friends Ryan Nicolussi (vocals) and Alister Hill (production).

Jarring, disorientating, and captivating: Saint-Léon’s new video for Hold My Love will draw you deep down into a strange, dark abyss.

The two live over ten thousand miles apart – in Sydney and London respectively – though their individual sounds blend seamlessly into one another.

On their new track Hold My Love, Saint-Léon navigate dark, brooding synth work and atmospheric soundscapes to deliver a slice of music that is gloriously jarring and mesmerising.

And of course a warning – the following video may potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised.

The track’s accompanying video is an all-out assault of flashing, stuttering madness that’ll leave you unsure of which way’s up. The best instance of disorientation you’ve ever felt.

Hold My Love is the latest single to be released from the groups debut full-length album, set to be released in 2019. For now, do yourself a favour and watch the new video above.

Catch Saint-Léon live at The Rosemary Branch Theatre in London on August 1st.
