PREMIERE: Suck at reverse parking? Próxima Parada have you beat in Only One Cloud Is Lonely

Hailing from California and made up of four frisbee-twirling fellas, Próxima Parada is a sunny combination of soul, blues folk and grooves that will have you soaking up their infectious good vibes and infinite optimism.

Made up of Nick Larson (vocals, keys, guitar), Kevin Middlekauff (bass), Josh Collins (guitar), and Aaron Kroeger (drums), this four-man ensemble know how to whip up a feel-good tune or two, with soulful melodies and an upbeat rhythm that will instantly have you hooked.

With their fresh new video for One Cloud Is Lonely, we’ve learned Próxima Parada are as talented at being humorous as they are making music. Beginning with a van full of colourful balloons, the clip is centred around continuous failed reverse parks, starring the boys themselves in their silliest possible spirits.

One Cloud Is Lonely is infectious with optimism, warm blues vibes and a nostalgic sense of freedom… the perfect track for a road trip, house party or just everyday listening.

Nostalgic to the likes of Bob Dylan and The Band, Vulfpekc and Lake Street Drive, Próxima Parada have been accumulating Spotify streams at full speed, diversifying between chilled out acoustics to uplifting party tunes.

With two albums already under their belt, the boys also won the New Times Music Award for Best R&B/Blues song for track Time In A Circle, the first track off their last record.

As they each try and reverse park, carefully directing one another only to fail each time, it’s hard to believe this is a concept for a music video, but somehow it works so damn well.

The light-hearted five minute parody is a compilation of the boys having a good ol’ time, getting their faces caught in car windows, enduring a whirlwind of colourful balloons and just generally channelling their inner child.
