PREMIERE: Paravelle shoot for the stars on their stunning sophomore single Along The Fires

Sydney-based, indie rock quartet Paravelle have unveiled their latest, a shimmering, mountainous slice of orchestral rock named Along The Fires.

Drawing notes from some of the greatest Aussie contemporaries around such as The Jezabels, The Temper Trap and Shining Bird, it’s a track that will have you flying as high as a kite from its very first moment.

An earthly hymn grounded in beautiful sonic narrative, Along The Fires from Paravelle is the follow-up single we were all waiting for.

Along The Fires stands as Paravelle’s second single following their explosive debut Cascades back in 2016, and steadily holds its own against that powerful introduction.

If nothing else, Paravelle have well and truly proved they’re no one trick ponies. With a debut EP in the works, we couldn’t be more excited to hear what else has been cooking.

Along The Fires is blissful, atmospheric rock, not even allowing a moment’s silence to seep between its walls. A harmonious sense of space and noise permeates the whole track like a beating heart, never flatlining but rather humming to its own, consistent rhythm.

Altogether it’s a wonderful slice of euphoric indie rock from the Sydneysiders, showcasing an ear for production and aesthetic that few acts could match on just their second single. Watch out, there’s surely more where this came from.
