PREMIERE: Paralyzed in Dreams is a cocoon of pure fury from Black Stone from the Sun

If you’re looking for some dirty grating tunes from yet another killer Perth band then look no further than Black Stone from the Sun. These guys have just released a new single Paralyzed in Dreams and it’s pretty damn spectacular.

With a screaming hot vocals, pummelling guitars and tight, crashing drums carrying you throughout the song, Paralyzed in Dreams is for anyone that’s into the likes of West Thebarton or Violent Soho.

Perth grunge powerhouse are at it again with one of their most vicious, pummelling tracks to date, Paralyzed in Dreams. Lose your shit below.

Sharply articulated and with a bright, crushing sound that just seems to crash down around you, wave after wave, the sense of being lost in a cocoon of fury and release is so real. The band have done an excellent job of keeping their audience captivated in the explosion of power that is Paralyzed in Dreams.

Black Stone from the Sun are well on their way to dropping their debut album Dreamalysis, with Paralysed in Dreams being the third single off the record. Recorded and produced alongside Mitch McDonald (Dead Owls, Tired Lion, Pat Chow, Emperors) and mastered by Simon Struthers of Forensic Audio, the record is looking to be an eclectic mix of Black Stone from the Sun’s experimental discussion with a heap of different sounds on the cards.

This is not to say they’ll be abandoning that punchy sound they have become known for. The weight and fury to their music will still be there, and if Paralysed in Dreams is anything to go off, the marriage of power and intrigue is something they very much excel at.

They’ve been playing a bunch of shows around Perth recently, and are pretty relentless travellers, so keep an eye out for shows where you can catch this banger live.
