PREMIERE: Hey Baby’s debut EP Couch House is finally here!

For the past couple of years now, Brisbane outfit Hey Baby have been belting out incredibly infectious surf-rock gems that’ll leave you no choice but to groove. They’re brimming with jangly instrumentation and bright vocal hooks that’ll stay in your body for weeks.

So, it should go without saying, that we’re stoked to be premiering their brand-spanking-new EP Couch House for you today.

With the release of their debut EP Couch House, Brisbane surf-rock four-piece Hey Baby develop their sounds while never sacrificing their infectious charm.

Throughout the new EP, Hey Baby dance through their signature blend of garage, punk, surf-rock, pop, and reggae to deliver a sound that’s uniquely their own. Across its five-track duration, Couch House will pull you in myriad directions – it never sits in once place for too long.

From the frantic and wailing garage noises of Something Awful to the woozy melancholia of Dead Inside, Couch House is a dynamic listen from start to finish. And while the new EP sees Hey Baby navigate some unfamiliar territories, it never sacrifices their infectious charm.

We don’t usually aim towards a specific sound when we write music, more so just try to express how we feel through a medium we love and I think this EP reflects this sentiment and shows that as humans we’re constantly in the process of changing the way we think, feel and behave,” the band say of the EP.
