PREMIERE: Don’t try to resist the goodness of A.C Freazy’s new video Only One

When Auckland synth-pop virtuoso A.C Freazy (real name Alex Freer) dropped his latest single Only One back in May, we wrote that the track “will have you gently swinging your hips, loosening up, and fantasising about steamy late nights with your soul mate.”

Now with the release of his new video for that same track, Freer has turned our fantasy into a bizarre and beautiful reality.

Auckland’s A.C Freazy has made all our desires and fantasies come true on his hallucinatory, dream-like new video Only One.

The new clip is dripping with sultry imagery that feels like some strange, desire-fuelled dream that you’ll never want to wake from. As Freer describes it:

“[Director Julian Vares] and I shared a love for videos that were obviously and transparently filmed in a studio, and I feel like the setting adds to the off-kilter and ethereal nature of the song. After some turmoil (including an asbestos scare) we are very proud to present this to you!”

Packing some of the most addictive instrumental and vocal melodies you’ll hear this year, Only One will crawl all over your skin and make you feel loved. Right from its opening seconds, the track’s glittery synths will caress your ears and hold you close.

As Freer gazes longingly from various dream-like scenes, you won’t be able to resist being drawn into his captivating presence. Do yourself a favour and watch the incredible new clip above.

Only One is the follow-up to A.C Freazy’s 2017 self-titled debut EP, which is available on streaming services now.
