PREMIERE: Take a stroll through the desert on Castilles’ new track Get Along

After leaving Aussie shoegaze faves Flyying Colours, brothers Josh and Samuel Dawes recruited guitarist Jules Valentine to form their own new project… and in no time at all, Castilles was born.

And good God, these guys have such an unbelievable chemistry, it’s pretty hard to believe they only began in 2016 – they sound as though they have a career’s worth of experience playing together.

On their new single Get Along, Melbourne’s Castilles will have you feeling like you’re stumbling and hallucinating through the desert with nothing but quality tunes to keep you going.

On their new single Get Along, the Melbourne three-piece traverse effortlessly through a captivating meld of old-school psych, post-punk, grunge, and desert rock.

With their mix of crunching, woozy guitars and rambling, shuddering vocals, Castilles have delivered a new single that will leave you feeling like you’re lost, hallucinating out in the middle of some Middle Eastern desert.

I never thought such an experience could be so enjoyable.

Get Along is the band’s third single, following 2017’s Scared and Telephone, and was recorded at Red Door Sounds by Paul ‘Woody’ Annison (Children Collide, The Living End, Peking Duk), and mastered by William Bowden at King Willy Sound.
