PREMIERE: If Brother Be’s new clip Nine Dollars doesn’t warm your heart, you may be heartless

When Brother Be began playing music together five years ago in a Canberran garage, they set on a path of creating upbeat, feel-good indie rock tracks.

Though with their new single Nine Dollars, the band have taken this infectious and positive vibe and approached it from a different angle – the result is a more nuanced and truly endearing listen.

When you listen to a Brother Be track, you know your listening to a band with years of experience playing together. It’s an incredible kind of synergy that can’t be mimicked.

Nine Dollars explores the complexities of doubt in our day-to-day lives with crunching instrumentation and spirited vocals.

The track’s accompanying music video sees a young protagonist navigating these issues with absolute class… if this video doesn’t warm your heart, you may be heartless.

Although the band have shifted their approach, the prevailing theme is one of positivity… and ultimately, one of hope.

The video is incredibly well produced and features some seriously impressive cinematography. As the video builds the layers of its narrative, the track also builds into a cathartic wall of sound that will send goosebumps down your body.

Do yourself a favour and watch the new video above, and grab the details to Brother Be’s Nine Dollars single launch show below:
