Post-Modern Connection deliver a truly captivating new video for Memories

Despite only being active for a little over a year, British Columbia-based outfit Post-Modern Connection have crafted a sound for themselves that’s unlike anything else currently making the rounds. It’s soulful and vibrant, simultaneously explorative and considered.

With the release of their new video for Memories, the band have immediately established themselves as one of the most exciting emerging bands in the world of indie-pop music. If you’re not already across this name, we strongly recommend you change that.

With the release of their stunning new video for Memories, Candian outfit Post-Modern Connection have immediately established themselves as one of indie-pop music’s most exciting new acts.

The new video is a stunning visual offering that follows Kaya Marley as she navigates various layers of inner-turmoil. Marley is a captivating presence throughout the clip, and enhances Post-Modern Connection’s immersive, soulful sounds.

The track itself is a showcase of the band’s unique blend of genres. Throughout its duration, they glide through pop, soul, and indie-rock to deliver a sound uniquely their own. With soaring vocal hooks and rich instrumentation, this track will nest itself in your body and stay there for weeks. By the time the track reaches its conclusion, you’ll have been roped in completely to Post-Modern Connections mesmerising music.

These are still relatively early days for this Canadian band, but judging by everything we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect plenty more quality material.
