On January 21st millions of women marched in protest of the inauguration of Donald ‘grab them by the pussy’ Trump as President of the USA. Such was the turnout that, as revealed by Pornhub, a huge drop in porn traffic occurred right in conjunction with the protest.
At the turn of 2017 Pornhub released their ‘Year in Review‘, revealing that 26% of the adult website’s visitors were women. The correlation comes naturally then, given the huge amount of women who were out on the streets instead of in the privacy of their homes.
That being said, with Trump at the forefront of the world stage, who really had porn on their minds?

While it’s all a little tongue-in-cheek, it’s awesome to see just how huge an effect the women’s marches had on society. One of the largest and most important protests of our time sent waves into every nook and cranny of our lives, and porn was no exception.
