Pacing The Cage tear toxic masculinity apart on Thrill Pill

From the moment its first crunching guitar chords explode into existence, Pacing The Cage’s intense new single Thrill Pill is an absolute punch to the face. It’s unapologetic. It’s unrelenting. And it’s pretty bloody great.

You may want to take a seat before these blistering sounds come charging out of your headphones, this band’s raw energy will knock you right over.

Melbourne alt-rock outfit Pacing The Cage make one hell of a first impression on their blistering and relentless debut single Thrill Pill.

Born out of Melbourne, Pacing The Cage meld elements of prog, psych, and straight up rock n’ roll to deliver a huge sound that belongs entirely to themselves.

Not only will this new single smack you in the head, but with deeply infectious vocals melodies and carefully considered instrumentation, it’ll stick with you for weeks.

“A provocative tale to impeach the behaviour of men who treat women like they are objects of entitlement and consumption, Thrill Pill parades masculinity in all it’s shameful glory,” the band say of the track.

Do yourself a favour and listen to the new track above, and if you like what you hear, you won’t have to wait much longer for more…

Pacing The Cage have spent the past year crafting their debut album, Intox, which is set to be dropped July 27th. If this first taste is anything to go by, we’re in for something pretty insane. Pre-order Intox here.
