Get those warm and fuzzy feels in MAXO’s emotional new offering Without You

Honesty is an admirable trait, especially when it comes in the form of emotional, hard-hitting lyrics straight from the heart. So why is it so uncommon amongst many males of today? Well, we’re not entirely sure, but we do know that having a velvety-smooth voice is probably an incentive to speak up.

Having previously made it to the top position on triple j Unearthed’s pop charts with single Lost & Found and ranking eighth overall, MAXO has an impressive track record of delivering much loved tunes for such a fresh artist.

MAXO wears his heart on his sleeve in Without You, a stirring pop ballad dedicated to the person he’s head over heels for. We’ve all been there.

Native to Canberra and with a string of singles already under his belt, MAXO is no stranger to the scene, having regularly gigged around the east coast and supported the likes of Thirsty Merc and Samantha Jade.

So it’s no wonder this pop-rock sensation has delivered yet another treasure, with fresh new single Without You here to sooth souls and melt hearts. Touching on relationships, love and the power of emotion, Without You expresses the longing to be with someone and the unacceptable lengths one will take to achieve this.

Opening with vocal overtones and acoustic strums followed by MAXO’s grainy vox, we’re immediately transported back to the early 2000s where pop-rock bands like The Script were at their height of radio play.

A song that many could probably relate to, Without You romances listeners with feelings of warmth and passion, delivering a catchy, powerful message of the compelling hold love can have over someone.

Without You is out now.
