Love blues and roots m8? Montaigne’s put together a killer playlist just for you before she heads to Wildwood Music Festival

The October long weekend is fast approaching and if you’re like us, you’re pining for a good excuse to kick the feet up. An extra day can turn a weekend into a holiday – and this coming holiday there’s one destination standing above the rest.

Wildwood Music Festival will be taking place in coastal Mid North New South Wales at Cassegrains Winery. Hosting some of the best blues, roots, reggae and folk circulating the country, this is one festival you won’t be jumping around all day on your feet for. It’ll be a holiday.

With Wildwood Music Festival looming on the horizon, we asked old mate Montaigne to prepare a playlist to get you in the mood for this chiller fest.

One of our favourite Aussie acts floating around at the moment, Montaigne, will be at Wildwood. To prep your collective body and souls for the experience, she’s thrown together a killer Spotify playlist.

Crammed with her choice of blues, roots and folk, she’s captured the vibe of the upcoming festival neatly. You’ll find tracks from some of the greats including Bob Marley & The Wailers and The Decemberists a selection of national favourites like Thelma Plum and fellow Wildwood artist Blue King Brown.
