Bob Moses’ brand new release Battle Lines presents an enigmatic blend of punchy underground rock elements, with the captivating essence of contemporary dance music.

Lead singles Back Down and Heaven Only Knows provided listeners with an encapsulating fusion of wistful, introspective lyrics and Bob Moses’s own nuanced synthesis of indie rock and pop.

The stunning, ethereal soundscapes seamlessly present themselves in every track, each offering its own significant insight into the duo’s new reflective direction. Battle Lines presents the world with its own unique thematic qualities, standing out as a completely inimitable and intimate experience.

Bob Moses’s Battle Lines will wholly encapsulate listeners through otherworldly synthesis and a non-stop effort to bend the lines of genre. The LP acts as a spellbinding narrative of personal growth and brilliant musical artistry.

The Vancouver-bred, Los Angeles-based Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance drew inspiration for the album on their most recent tour. After writing and testing new material on the road, the pair found themselves taking a harder look into the world that we live in.

This record is about the battles and struggles we all live through. Battles within ourselves, battles with and within our society, battles between each other, with our loved ones, battles between ideologies. “

“It’s also about struggling to identify where those battles lines start and end, and what within us and within our environments cause these struggles, and ultimately cause our suffering. It’s also about the struggle to reconcile with those things, somehow.”

Battle Lines is out now via Domino.
