We’ve been digging the new Mac Demarco record, This Old Dog, in the office. It came out just last week, but before it was released Mac did an acoustic performance for A Take Away Show (a great video series by French blog La Blogothèque), which we just came across.
Watch Mac Demarco perform This Old Dog and Still Beating (and a little bit of the La’s’ There She Goes) while walking through a French dog park.
As Pitchfork note, it was shot in Paris back in February and was directed by Hugo Jouxtel.
For his Take Away Show, Mac played This Old Dog’s title track and album track Still Beating. He also covered a bit of The La’s’ iconic tune There She Goes (from their 1990 eponymous album), saying it was an influence for Still Beating.
Fittingly, Mac performed all three songs while walking around a dog park. Watch it below.
