LCD Soundsystem announce new live album, share cover of Heaven 17’s Fascist Groove Thang

New York indie-dance heroes LCD Soundsystem have confirmed that a new live album titled Electric Lady Sessions will arrive later this year.

Recorded at New York’s iconic Electric Lady Studios, the new album is yet to receive a specific release date, nor has any tracklist been shared.

LCD Soundsystem have shared a cover of Heaven 17’s (We Don’t Need This) Fascist Groove Thang; the first taste of an upcoming live album titled Electric Lady Sessions.

On top of the announcement, the band have also shared a new cover of Heaven 17’s track (We Don’t Need This) Fascist Groove Thang, which is set to feature on the album.

Electric Lady Sessions will be the first taste of new music we’ve received from LCD Soundsystem since they released American Dream last year. The new album will also be the fourth live album in the band’s career, following 2010’s London Sessions, Live 10th November London Alexandra Palace with Hot Chip, and 2014’s The Long Goodbye: LCD Soundsystem Live At Madison Square Garden.
