Last Dinosaurs drop atmospheric new single Wurl

Fresh off a massive headline tour across Australia, Brisbane indie-pop top guns Last Dinosaurs have a brand new single – an atmospheric slice from their sophomore album Wellness entitled Wurl.

The track is a mellow take on their sparkling clean indie-pop formula featuring modulated riffs, twinkling, atmospheric arpeggios and snappy drums. The band once again show off their penchant for writing ridiculously hooky pop music, deliciously wrapped up in a sonically tight package.

Singer and guitarist Sean Caskey says of the track “Wurl was written when we were taking a break to write music in a remote Japanese town. When I came home I built my first guitar pedal and came up with the lead riffs while testing it out. The song is about coming to terms with losing someone close to you because at the time a family member was dying. So this is kind of a dedication to them.”
