L.A punk legends X announce the reissue of four iconic albums

With the announcement of a new distribution deal with Fat Possum Records, legendary L.A punk X band are reissuing four of their iconic albums.

The four albums – Los Angeles (1980), Wild Gift (1981), Under The Big Black Sun (1982), and More Fun In The New World (1983) – have been uploaded to Spotify and Apple Music, and remastered version of the albums are expected by the end of the year.

Good news old-school punk fans! Legendary Los Angeles punk band X have announced the remastering and reissue of four iconic albums.

Having formed in 1977 by vocalist/bassist John Doe and guitarist Billy Zoom, X were among the first wave of L.A’s punk scene, and were hugely influential in crafting the west coast’s distinctive sound.

Throughout the eighties and early nineties, the band released seven studio albums, as well as a string of 7″ singles.

X reissued their debut single Adult Books back in 2015, and are currently touring with their original lineup.
