King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard‘s annual psychedelic celebration Gizzfest is back in 2018, and the lineup is a doozy.
There’s only one problem. IT’S ONLY IN MELBOURNE THIS YEAR.
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard announce the details for Gizzfest 2018, and it’s a doozy. Check out the line up below.
Since its inception in 2015, Gizzfest has been a nation-wide festival. However, this year the event will just be taking place in the band’s hometown of Melbourne, which is a bummer (for us at least).
That being said, the lineup is so good it might be worth making the trip down. Headlined, of course, by King Gizzard, the bill also features Amsterdam’s Altin Gün, Tropical F*ck Storm, The Mystery Lights from New York, Amyl & The Sniffers, Stonefield, Brooklyn’s Surfbort, Body Type and heaps more.
The festival will take place across “four stages – a stage in the round with four video screens, another main indoor stage and two outdoor cave stages. King Gizzard will play an extra-long career-spanning set with their visual collaborator Jason Galea working your synapses.”
If you’re really hanging out to catch them King Gizzard live, Flightless Records have also announced that national King Gizzard tour dates will be announced for Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide next week.
