It’s only a matter of weeks now until Field Day will kick off the New Year in Sydney, and to keep punters on their toes, triple J Unearthed have named the winner of the Field Day competition.
Sydney artist Jess Kent has taken the title after impressing with her one and only single Get Down, and is now the newest addition to the festival line-up. Although it has only been a couple of weeks since she released the single, Kent told triple J “The response has just been crazy. Labels have been getting in touch.”
She now joins the likes of Disclosure, The Wombats and Halsey, who will take the stage The Domain in Sydney on January 1.
