It looks like Foals have begun recording a new album! Check out some snaps from their studio

It looks like Foals have well and truly begun working on the follow up to 2015’s What Went Down. Back in October the band spoke at the Oxford University student union symposium where they revealed that a new album was in the works. Now they’ve shared some studio pics along with the caption: “Back at it”.

It looks like Foals have begun working on the follow-up to 2015’s What Went Down. Check out some snaps from their studio below.

Foals revealed to NME back in July that they weren’t in any huge rush to get into recording, that they were still gestating on a few ideas.

“We’re in the marinating stage of thinking about getting onto the next record,” frontman Yannis Philippakis said. “We have a couple of bits written but it’s in the very early stages. We’re in the conception stage, we’re not pregnant yet, we’re just trying to have the kid.”

“I think it’s good to be hungry and want to make big leaps between records and keep things surprising and keep it unpredictable and to grow. It’s important for bands to evolve and I think it’s one of the reasons that it’s still exciting for us after having done four records.”
