Community arts organisation, Information + Cultural Exchange (ICE) are currently running All Girl Electronic, a free electronic music production workshop and mentorship program for young women, trans and non-binary youth from Western Sydney.

All Girl Electronic

Thinking of getting into electronic music production? Apply for All Girl Electronic, a free workshop and mentorship program for young women, trans and non-binary youth in Western Sydney.

Established as an answer to the call for gender and cultural diversity within the areas of electronic music production and programming, the program is open to young creatives with an interest in learning how to make electronic music – no experience required.

One program just wrapped up – a mentor-run recording workshop with some of our favourite local electronic artists, including Lupa J, Antonia Gauci and Kat Harley from MEZKO. This weekend ICE is hosting a free listening party where students will be showing off the tracks they’ve created. You can check out the event here.

Applications are still open for the All Girl Electronic production workshop where you can be trained and mentored by some of Sydney’s best producers, delve into Ableton Live and learn the basics of synths and programming, and how to produce your own tracks.

Apply for All Girl Electronic here. It is open to all female-identifying, trans, non-binary people aged 15 to 25 who are based in Western Sydney.
