Melbourne lads Pretty City have kicked off their Mary Go Round tour and will be hitting up the Cross for some fun. The new single is a banger, not to mention these boys know how to put on a pretty fun rock show. Local legends Wells is supporting too, so be sure to get down early for a few brews and some quality tunes.

Marlon Williams – Saturday November 21, Oxford Art Factory, Sydney
If dark narrative and forlorn romanticism is your jam (as if it isn’t everyones), then the dark basement of Oxford Art Factory is where you need to find yourself. Marlon Williams is in the middle of his massive Australian tour. This will be your last chance to see the morose poet in headline mode before he gets swept in the Summer festival season and then overseas to the UK, US and Canada. Along for the ride is Ben Salter, which guarantees a double dose of manly, angelic crooning.
My Own Pet Radio – Saturday 21, Northcote Social Club, Melbourne
Sam Cromack delivered an impressive, albeit surprising album with his solo debut Goodlum. Don’t let the lo-fi vocals and pop sentiments of No Great Mystery fool you, this album is weird. In a good way of course. This isn’t just a one-man Ball Park Music show, this a man who has reached some incredible new artistic heights that needs to be seen up close. Be sure to get in early to see old mate LANKS and Louis Spoils too!
Jeremy Neale – Saturday November 21, Jack Rabbit Slims, Perth
Jeremy Neale is one cool cat. He talks the real talk and he walks the walk with much swagger. When he isn’t busy with his other dozen projects he plays music under his own name, and his latest EP Let Me Go Out In Style is a captivating exploration of love, life and sacrifice. His tour had been cranking around the country, and on Saturday he’ll be stopping over in the west coast with some amazing support from Methyl Ethel. They’ve just taken home the gold at the WAMi’s, and if you haven’t given their album Oh Inhumane Spectacle some time then stop what you’re doing and do so now. Once you’re done spend your hard earned clams to get a ticket to this show. Or at the very least do your best to talk the door bitch into letting you in anyway.
Hein Cooper – Sunday November 22, The Bearded Lady, Brisbane
A chilled bevvie in hand and sultry vocals wrapping sliding in your ears and wrapping around your brain. That’s what a Sunday sesh is all about, so if you’re bumming around Brissie on Sunday then get your arse to The Bearded Lady to witness the majesty that is Hein Cooper. We can hear the swoons already…
