‘Leisure Coast’ garage rockers, Hockey Dad have been slaying it in the wake of their new single Can’t Have Them, with shows for their East Coast tour selling out fast. This morning they have also announced some amazing supports for the fast expanding tour.
Following up their revered debut EP Dreamin’, the duo released their brand new single Can’t Have Them a few weeks back. It follows a similarly nostalgic tone to their previous work, blending melancholy pop with surf vibes and garage rock grit. The track was picked up straight away by triple J, FBi and 4zzz, scoring solid airplay on each station.

They boys will be taking the new track on the road on an East Coast tour in June, and already shows have been selling out with more being added each week. Joining them for the majority of the tour will be fellow garage rockers Los Tones, who have been creating quite a stir themselves recently, scoring support slots with The Murlocs and a spot on the bill for the upcoming Sydney Gizzfest.
Joining Hockey Dad and Los Tones will be local talent from Love Signs, Bugs, Pilots, Mild Manic, My Little Underground, and Solid Effort.
