Fresh off the release of their new EP, Hey Baby share a playlist of summery tunes

Last month, when Brisbane outfit Hey Baby dropped their latest EP Couch House, we were all-in on their infectious, surfy vibes. The EP was brimming with good times, and if you haven’t yet listened to it, we strongly recommend you do so now.

With the EP’s release, Hey Baby established themselves as certified purveyors of good tunes… so we caught up with the band for a playlist of tunes perfect for your summer listening.

Fresh off the release of their latest EP Couch House, we caught up with Brisbane band Hey Baby for a playlist of super-infectious tunes.

Rattus Rattus – I’ve Got No Plans

KACPER: Super cool dudes who write upbeat surfy garage punk. Think Surf Curse but happier.

Fight Ibis – Fight Ibis

KACPER: Full of twists and turns this one never loses your interest. Alternative garage funk punk I don’t even know it’s just great.

Heaps Good Friends – I Could Eat A Full Packet Of Yoyos

DAN: It’s boogie time! Just a get-up and dance tune hitting me in nostalgic childhood times.

Skegss – Margarita

DAN: These lads can do no wrong. Super fun surfy rock tunes making you grab for your closest beer….. Or Margarita.

Morning Harvey – Go The Way

SAM: Has a certain nostalgic feel to it but with a modern twist that just hits you in the feels.

Sophisticated Dingo – Dreaming

SAM: Love these guys and my god this one makes me want to go on a road trip just to be able to cruise around to this.

The Pretty Littles – Pride

JAEGER: I enjoy the deep lyrics and the empowering instrumental vibrations. Never fails to get my foot a’tappin.

HIGHTIME – Nothing Wasted

JAEGER: This song is the dopest of all songs ever written by anyone ever and that’s why I like it. Also, the drums are nuts.
