Let Grace Grove caress your soul with their hypnotic new single Ladders

Sydney five-piece Grave Grove have just shared their ridiculously smooth debut single Ladders… and honestly, we’re blown away.

As far as debut releases go, this is about as good as it gets. With air-tight instrumentation and seemingly flawless vocal delivery, Ladders will seep into your bones and make your body groove.

On their hypnotic and ridiculously smooth debut single Ladders, Sydney five-piece Grave Grove make one hell of a first impression.

On the new track, the band glide through a captivating blend of neo-soul, jazz, funk and R&B to deliver a sound that belongs entirely to themselves.

Frontwoman Grace Brown shares that the song was written after seeing Nai Palm live at the Sydney Opera House in 2017.

I was in quite a self-doubtful place, where I felt my creativity wasn’t flourishing at the time,” she says.

That night seeing her at the opera house really sparked a flame in me that felt like it had burnt out a little bit, quite a spiritual experience.”

These are still early days for this Sydney outfit, but judging by the quality of what we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect plenty more quality tunes courtesy of Grace Grove.

For now, do yourself a favour and listen to the new track above.
