Former recording studio of David Bowie, U2 and Radiohead on sale for £3.85m

Could you imagine owning the home where some of the most iconic names in music once recorded? For the low low price of £3.85m (approx. $7.2m AUD) it could be yours.

Ridgeway House is a stunning Gregorian home located in Farnham, Surrey, that was once part of the trendy array of studios where stars in the 1980s used to escape the city bustle and create masterpieces.

An iconic recording location once home to David Bowie, U2, Radiohead and many other music legends is now on the market for £3.85m.

The residential studio saw The Smiths recording their third album, alongside hosting David Bowie, U2, Radiohead, Stevie Wonder and many others. Sadly, the beautiful studio no longer exists, and in its place is now a gym. Nonetheless, the gorgeous home is still a piece of music history tucked away just a few miles from the amenities of Farnham.

Inside the house you will find seven bedrooms, six bathrooms and seven reception rooms, so naturally buyers are worried there isn’t enough space. The gardens also include a swimming pool, tennis courts, a vegetable garden and a large paddock.

Pretty much, if you have $7.2 mil this is the dream home. Period.
